Product description

Endive „Trés fine Maraîchére“ (Cichorium endivia L.)

Endive frisée is a plant related to chicory, which resembles lettuce in shape and taste. However, it has more vitamins and minerals and a slightly spicier, lightly bitter taste. It is popular in German, French and Italian cuisine and will taste great in summer salad with strawberry and asparagus
The 'Trés Fine maraîchére' variety is suitable for spring cultivation, planted under a greenhouse or tunnel in winter, and for autumn cultivation, planted directly into the ground in the summer. Lettuce needs a sunny position and deep humus soil.
