Pak choi, is a vegetable that is easy to grow, juicy and full of nutrients, among other calcium and therefore it is practically suitable for those who exclude milk products from their diet. Yet Pak choi that you can buy in the store often expensive, not to mention that it had to travel far to get to your kitchen, and to keep it fresh longer, it is packed in plastic foil. So why buy it when you can easily grow it on your balcony. Pak Choi needs just some space, sun, and good, nutrient reach soil. What is more you can sow it from early spring to early autumn. It is thus great if you forget to sow seedlings in early spring, or if you enjoy gardening so much that after the April sowing you will have space and desire for more.
The white parts of Pak chois’ leaves are juicy and slightly sweet in taste. The green ones resemble a crispy lettuce both in shape and in taste. Whole vegetable can be eaten raw, in a salad, e.g. with thinly sliced carrots, salt and aromatic olive. You can also bake them in the oven for a tasty side dish. You can also eat baby leaf Pak choi.
Pak choi prefers sunny to semi-shaded locations in loose, nutrient-rich and calcareous soil.

Cultivation
Pack choi seeds can be sown from spring to fall and harvested until November. After sowing, it will be ready for harvest after about 2 months (50 - 60 days).
Place the seeds in 2cm deep holes, spaced in 30 by 30 cm squares.
